Hope to Housing

Hope to HousingAs the population of the homeless steadily grows, the need for housing increases as well.  Our goal is to make sure that we assist everyone into permanent/independent housing placement as a long term goal.

Transitional housing is the first step which provides housing to homeless and displaced veterans and is set up to transition our residents into permanent, affordable housing.  The transitional time can be up to three years and in that time we will jump start the process toward a cost-effective way to live more stable and productive lives. Transitional housing is widely believed to work well for those who face the most complex challenges with homelessness which may include issues stemming from alcoholism, mental health issues, etc.  As you progress through transitional housing, you’ll be involved with job training, life skills training, alcohol and drug abuse programs, community support services and case management to those in need of assistance.
